Security and data

Your data stays in Kenya

All customer data is stored and processed in Kenya. Every app runs in its own sandbox with its own kernel. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and daily backups include off-site copies in Kenya. Two-factor sign-in is available for owners and admins.

For agencies

Hosting for agencies in Kenya

Give each client their own Eza organisation and billing contact. The client can pay Eza directly by M-Pesa, so you do not need to collect hosting money before renewing a server.

Run Laravel, WordPress and Node apps in the same agency account. Transfer ownership when a contract ends. Your team has unlimited members.

Referral credit is 10% of a referred client's plan for 12 months.

Can I pay for hosting with M-Pesa?

Yes. All Eza plans are paid by M-Pesa in KES, and you do not need a dollar card. Prices include VAT at 16%, and Eza sends a KRA eTIMS invoice.

Do I need a dollar card to sign up?

No. Eza accepts M-Pesa for all payments, and your billing is in KES.

Where is my data stored?

All customer data is stored and processed in Kenya. Your apps and databases run in Nairobi. You accept a DPA at signup written for the Data Protection Act, 2019.

How does PayEdge handle money?

Payments land in your own Paybill or Till, not in Eza's account. PayEdge handles tokens, callbacks and status checks. KES 450 per shortcode each month, with unlimited transactions.

What is your uptime guarantee?

Eza Cloud has a 99.5% monthly uptime commitment for eligible apps with two or more replicas. Automatic credits apply when the commitment is missed. Beta features are included and supported, but they are not covered by uptime credits. Service status is published on the public status page.

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel from your Eza account. Eza does not provide refunds. Your service continues to the end of the paid period. Data is deleted 14 days later.
